These pages are designed to give a taster of my meanderings in life and some of my more memorable accomplishments since leaving "the best school in the whole of Western Europe" in 1990.

1990-1992 I attended Bristol Polytechnic (now UWE) and completed a HND in Applied Science (Biology). More importantly I met a wide range of intersting characters and had a really good time - enjoying Bristol life to the max! A special mention to Anthony Okai, Henry Lum, Sam Brocklehurst and Joanna Thomas - good people!

1992-1994 I attended Swansea University and completed an honours degree in Biology. I enjoyed this enormously and felt like I'd finally come home. The lifestyle, beaches and great friends I made here will stay with me forever! This is also the time I qualified as a Scuba diver and began my Tae Kwon Do training (a martial art), both of which I still enjoy today. A special mention here to Colin Maxwell and Jeff Smith - great friends to know!

1994-1996 I gained a PGCE in Secondary Science in 1995 and began teaching in Olchfa school for one year as a Science teacher until the summer of 1996. The training year was horrible and I hated just about all of it. The teaching year was fantastic - thanks largely to a colleague at Olchfa - Ray Nelson who left a lasting impression. With this experience I set off to Canterbury in Kent.

1996-1998 I worked for 2 years as a Science teacher in Montgomery GM School. The management was oppressive and the kids hard work. However, the staff were second to none and again I made some lasting friends. Marc Heath, Mark Hanslip, Tracy & Ian and all the gang made life in Kent a little more bearable. This is also the place where I met the Silk party skiers and have enjoyed many a holiday since on my board on the white slopes of Austria and Italy. Ba ha ba ha!!

1998-2000 I moved to Cirencester in Gloucestershire and took up a post of Science teacher in the excellent Kingshill School. In 1999 I was promoted to Year Head. I shared a house with good friends Tracey, Chris and Dan which was an experience in itself!

2000-2002. I met my fiance Jenny and we bought a house together at the end of 2000. We plan to get married in the Summer of 2003. I got promoted to second in Science and am still enjoying all that I do. I also got my 1st degree black belt in 2001.

2002-2004. New year 2002/03 saw us on the slopes of Sol, Austria with good friends Vic & Dave. We visited Rome in February and I passed my 2nd Dan in Tae Kwon Do in April 2003. In April 2003 we returned to the slopes; this time Courmayeur on the Italian/French border. The wedding took place on 27th July 2003 on a gorgeous sunny day and the sunshine followed in the weeks after as we toured the Caribbean - St. Lucia, Barbados and Grenada. This was what a honeymoon should be like - awesome! Christmas 2003 saw us snowboarding again in Italy and in April we took in the sights of Barcelona - a lovely city. Summer 2004 saw us in Malaysian Borneo. Check out the link below to view the photos.

2004-present day. February 2005 we took a really enjoyable family holiday to Lanzarote with the Edwards clan. We then snowboarded in Italy at Easter before travelling all the way to the Isle of Wight for Jens birthday in July. This trip may have been very productive as you'll discover in a minute by reading on!! Summer 2005 saw us on our final adventure for a while - Australia. We travelled via Singapore to Perth and the West coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns/Port Douglas and home via Hong Kong. The Australia photos can be seen by clicking the link below. I passed my 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do in April 2006. Our son Rhys Joseph Edwards arrived 7th April 2006!! Click the link below for photos.
