Over new year 1996/97 I travelled to Andorra with Sarah, Mike and Becky to learn how to ski. The weather wasn't great and everyone got really bad colds (except me!) but the skiing was great fun. At Easter 1997 I travelled to Cyprus for a bit of 'Winter sun' and then, after taking the school kids to Disneyland Paris, spent the summer in Malta. Here we hooked up with a friend who was working for a scuba dive company and spent most of the holiday underwater!
In February 1998 I went on my first Silk Ski trip to Mayerhoefen in Austria and totally got hooked on Snow holidays.
