In September 1992 I joined the 2nd year of the Biology degree at Swansea Uni. I shared a room with big Rich in the annex of Mary Jones hall and had a brilliant time. My mate Jeff Smith from Usk introduced me to some others from my course and living in halls is a great way to meet new people so before too long I settled into life at Uni. Most memorable is the trip to Ireland where we drank Guiness all day and had the roughest Irish sea ferry crossing known to man.
In the Summer of 1993 I hitch-hiked to Amsterdam with one of my buddies - Chi. The hitch-hiking itself was quite an experience and the holiday was unforgettable. I also went on holiday this summer with Mark Bo to Mallorca for a lesson in how to drink, dance and have fun!
In my second (finals) year at Swansea I moved into a shared house with some other students from halls - the 'Rhyddings Park Road gang'. Both Dave and Ian knew a bit about real ale and we lived the typical student lifestyle! In the Summer of 1994 I again travelled to Amsterdam & Paris, this time with (then) girlfriend Sarah. We also went on to the sunny island of Ibiza later that Summer.
